The Nanninis

The 6-7 month range is such a great age for a photo session.  A child has so much personality, but is usually not too mobile, providing a perfect combination for wonderful images that truly capture the essence of the child.  That was the case with sweet Owen in our photo session over the weekend. Owen is full of smiles and very curious about the world around him. His mom and dad are smitten with their first-born, and it's no wonder. He is such a happy little guy- and oh those blue eyes!  This first one is sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

The De La Cadena's

I had so much fun with these three cuties over the weekend.  Julian and Nico are so sweet with Isabella and they are all just beautiful. I immediately had the feeling that I know their mom. I finally told her that she reminded me so much of a friend of mine, and it turned out that they are sisters!  Throughout the shoot, I was mesmerized by each of their eyes- the boys have beautiful see-through green eyes and Isabella has the darkest of dark eyes.  I love the way the light really caught their eyes in these.  I know this family will cherish these images of their little darlings and the fun they have together!

The Romance Family

I enjoyed meeting this sweet young family over the weekend.  Liam is a fun and happy 1-year-old, ever-so-close to walking. He was quite the charmer with lots of cute faces and sweet smiles. With that personality and his blue eyes AND a name like Romance... the girls of Charlotte better watch out in about 16 years! ;) Happy 1st birthday sweet Liam!

The Smith Family

The Smiths were among my very first clients, and I am so glad they chose me again for their family portraits.  My how these girls have grown.  Lillian is nearly as tall as me (and sadly, I don't think I am growing any more) and Claudia is more beautiful than ever.  They are the perfect combination of sweet and silly, and we did have a silly time together.  Bailey is the super-soft new addition to the family and he is enough to make anyone puppy crazy.  Mom and Dad always drop the girls off with me because they tend to allow me to photograph them a little more that way.  So glad Cynthia and Kevin joined us at the end for such a sweet family photo!

The Thrashers

With a name like Thrasher, you know this can't be a coincidence... and, of course, it's not.  I finally had a chance to have a much belated photo session with my in-laws (my husband's brother and his precious family).  We had a great time racing against the rain clouds on our morning out together.  I had so much fun with them all.  I just adore my sweet niece and my two crazy nephews and of course, their awesome mom and dad!  I love their bright colors against the beautiful fall backdrop... and of course, I love them!
